H.K.E. Society’s B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Bidar, in association with the IQAC and Career Guidance and Placement Cell, organized a Special Lecture on “Agniveer Rally” on 29 September 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the A.V. Hall.

The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the Agniveer recruitment process, opportunities in the Armed Forces, eligibility criteria, selection procedure and the importance of discipline, physical fitness and dedication for a career in the defence services.

Col. Jaswender Singh served as the Resource Person and addressed the students, providing valuable information and guidance regarding the Agniveer Rally and career opportunities in the Armed Forces. Subedar Maj. Manoj Kumar and Havildar Deeraj Bhandari graced the programme as Chief Guests, while Rajkumar Ladde, Ex-Army Bidar District President, attended as Guest. Dr. Mallikarjun Kote, IQAC Co-Coordinator, was the Guest of Honour.

The programme was presided over by Dr. Deepa Raga, Principal of the college. Dr. Pooja Suryawanshi, Career Guidance and Placement Officer, welcomed the gathering. Sri Basavaraj Biradar served as the Programme Anchor, and Lt. Maruthi Bhimanna, NCC Officer, proposed the vote of thanks.

The programme provided students with useful insights into defence career opportunities and motivated them to consider serving the nation through the Armed Forces. The session concluded with a note of gratitude to the resource person, dignitaries, faculty members and students for their active participation.
