Our Society

B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Bidar

The Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society was established in the year 1958, with an objective of imparting higher education, especially in the Technical and Medical fields to this part of Karnataka, which was once part of erstwhile Hyderabad State.

The districts Kalaburagi, Bidar, Raichur and Yadgiri, comprising of Hyderabad Karnataka region are identified to be a backward part of Karnataka State.

The founding fathers of the Society rightly identified the need to accelerate the Social and Economic development through Educational advancement.

True to the spirit, today the Society runs 45 Educational Institutions such as Medical, Engineering, Dental, Pharmacy, Homeopathic, Nursing, Law, Management, Education, Arts, Science, Commerce and Home Science including separate Women’s College. The people of Hyderabad Karnataka loved and respected Shri. Mahadevappa Rampure for his pioneering services in the field of education to such an extent that they started calling him as ‘Madan Mohan Malviya’ of Hyderabad Karnataka area.

Message from PRESIDENT

H K E Society is the prestigious educational institute of Karnataka has stressed to inculcate the value based education in all the institutions in fact it is the only organization which has been imparting higher education in backward region of the state, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Raichur and Yadgiri from past five decades. As the part of society, believe that the best way to bring a change is to initiate it. With this believe, society will continually engage over more than fifty years in a relentless endeavor to grow and develop into a pioneer organization in the field of education. Society with 40 + Institutions, 1000 Faculties, 2500 Administrative Staffs and more than 10000 students has been playing an important role in making the society prestigious one, by their hard work and devotion. Its mission is man-making, dispelling ignorance, imparting knowledge. B.V. Bhoomaraddi College an Educational Institute which has been imparting a value based education since 5 decades to the students, most of who live in difficult areas many in remote villages. College prides itself of its achievements with maintaining highest academic standards in the selection of the faculty and the students. It has very talented and intellectual faculty who have got best teacher award and been members of recognized academic and other organizations. College has taken crucial steps in its pursuit of excellence: modernization of infrastructure introducing technology in teaching learning process. Recently an Audio-Visual Hall is established. With the continued support and dedication of faculty and employees.

Message from Principal

Congratulations to all admission seekers! You are indeed fortunate to consider the option of pursuing six semesters UG or four semesters PG Course offered by B. V. Bhoomaraddi UG and PG College, Bidar. This will be a historical beginning of innovative path breaking exercise contemplated by B. V. Bhoomaraddi UG and PG College in its pursuits for enabling its students to face the ever increasing challenges of our globalized society. This UG & PG programmes aims at giving students a firm grounding in their respective disciplines while also acquainting them with skills for critical thinking.

The various discipline centered six semester programmes for UG and four semester programme for PG offered by our college has been given in detail in this Admission Brochure. These inbuilt foundation courses are expected to further enhance the overall confidence level and personality of the students.

I assure all the stakeholders that, our College does not compromise on academic quality, students discipline and safety. We have been putting continuous efforts in further improving our College infrastructure. In addition Academic cum amenities blocks are completed with the required number of class rooms, ICT class rooms, Seminar hall, Laboratories, Wi-Fi facility, Language Laboratory, Library, Canteen, Health and Fitness Club (Gymnasium), Health Center, Play Ground, Safe drinking water (RO System), NSS, NCC, Scouts & Guides, students centric activities, cultural activities and other amenities are also been put in operation. CCTV Cameras installed in the College campus to achieve our objects.
