Bidar: H.K.E. Society’s B.V. Bhoomaraddi Arts, Science and Commerce College, Bidar, in association with IQAC and the Department of Hindi, organized a One-Day National E-Seminar on the topic “National Unity and Hindi Language” on 28 September 2026, as part of the Hindi Day celebrations.

The Chief Speaker, Dr. Satyanarayan Snehi, Head of the Department of Hindi, Utkrisht Shiksha Kendra, Government Postgraduate College, Sanjauli, Shimla, delivered a scholarly lecture on the role of the Hindi language in strengthening national unity. He highlighted the importance of Hindi as a means of communication and as a bridge connecting people belonging to different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

The programme was presided over by Dr. Rajnish Wali, Council Member of H.K.E. Society, Kalaburagi, and Convener of the B.V.B. College Campus.

Dr. Deepa Raga, Principal of B.V.B. College, Bidar, and Dr. Mallikarjun Kote, IQAC Coordinator, B.V.B. College, Bidar, were present on the occasion.

Welcome and introductory remarks were delivered by Mr. Maruti Bhimanna, Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi, B.V.B. College, Bidar. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Nehru Pawar, Guest Lecturer.

More than 200 participants, including professors, research scholars and students from various colleges, participated in the online seminar and actively engaged in discussions on national unity, linguistic diversity and the significance of the Hindi language.
